We attended the Labor Day Turning Hearts Celebration hosted by the Bontrager family in Kalona,Iowa. It was a sweet time of fellowship and music. Gil gave two encouraging messages for strengthening families: “Beware Where You Stare; It May Become a Snare” and “One Failure No Family Can Afford to Make.”
It was exciting to see such a large crowd of young people with a desire to serve the Lord. The Bontra
ger’s labor of love and sacrifice for this event will undoubtedly yield much fruit in the hearts and lives of those who attended.
It is a testimony to all of us how the efforts of just one family can impact hundreds! May we each follow their example in giving of our time, talents, and treasures to be a blessing to those around us!
