Lawson’s upcoming concert in North Carolina is benefitting Levine Children’s Hospital in NC. Read a short note from Pastor Luke Johnson:
REPOST FROM Lawson Bates Official
My name is Luke Johnson, and I am a Pastor in Lincolnton, NC. My wife Amanda and I have three children, Brayden, Landen, and Hannah Grace. Our son, Landen has a rare type of Primordial Dwarfism. He is one of eleven children in the world with his type of PD. One of the challenges of this type of dwarfism is immune deficiency, which leads to the necessity of a bone marrow transplant. This is where we find ourselves currently. Right now Landen is taking medication to keep him from getting infections, and he receives a weekly infusion of immunoglobulin to help his immune system fight any infections he may be exposed to. Landen’s bone marrow transplant will take place at Levine Children’s Hospital sometime after flu season is over. If his health declines they would transplant earlier.
Levine Children’s Hospital has been such a blessing to us and many other families like ours. We desire to be a blessing in return, so we are holding a benefit concert featuring Lawson Bates on May 19th at 7:00 PM at New Vision Ministries in Lincolnton, NC. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through this event. Please support our local children’s hospital and help us meet our goal!
